Teresa Swanstrom Anderson

Hi, friend. I’m Teresa — and I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m a mom of six (2 bio + 4 from Ethiopia), and I've been married to my best friend for over 20 years…I’m also a best-selling author, speaker, life coach, entrepreneur, Pilates instructor, and the founder of Sanctified Pilates. A few years ago, I was quoted in a book as “The Pink-Haired Theologian” — which, honestly, feels pretty fitting. I hold a master’s degree in Theological and Biblical Studies from Denver Seminary, and I’ve never believed theology has to be boring.

For more than a decade, I’ve been helping women slow down, pay attention, and make room for God in the middle of their actual, beautiful, sometimes-messy lives.

And here’s what I’ve come to believe: our bodies aren’t separate from our life with God. They’re part of it.

That’s why I created Sanctified Pilates.

Here, we bring together movement and prayer. Strength and surrender. Scripture and nervous system care. Beauty, breath, and sacred stillness.

My hope is that this becomes a place where you can grow stronger without striving harder. Where you learn to listen to your body with kindness. And where rolling out your mat becomes another way of turning your attention toward God.

Outside of Pilates, I love creating beautiful spaces, traveling, good food (as long as it’s GF, lol), writing, and hosting people well.

But if you really want to know where I’m happiest, it’s outside.

Give me a long table under bistro lights, a meal that lingers, a live Spanish guitarist nearby, and the people I love gathered around me. The kind of night where the air is warm, no one is watching the clock, and we’re laughing so hard we can barely breathe.

That’s my favorite kind of beautiful.

I’m also an Airbnb owner and entrepreneur, and I love creating places that make people feel welcomed, cared for, and at home.

Outside of Sanctified Pilates, you can find me through my books, speaking, teaching, coaching, and sharing pieces of everyday life online (mostly on IG @teresa.swanstrom.anderson).

Come as you are, sweet friend. There’s room for you here. Welcome.
